Remote farmers

Page history last edited by Gregory Asmolov 9 years, 4 months ago

In many remote place all over Russia people produce a big variety of goods - traditional art, healthy food etc.  There is a demand to green and healthy products from remote areas in big cities, however the city based consumers usually don't know how to find the farmers who produce the good. The idea is creating a tool - online map and mobile phone application that will allow the farmers to add themselves to the map, and to add information about their products. In this case people in big cities will be able to purchase this goods without mediator that make it much more expensive. It will significantly support the situation in rural remote areas, and contribute to economic growth. It will also create additional motivation to people from cities to visit remote areas. The tool should have a geolocation component that will show to the potential consumers the closest place where he can buy farmers' products.
